loft was having a pretty bomb sale last week & i definitely treated myself to a few gems ! the first four are tank tops in bright summery colors , the next two are pencil skirts (i thought i would need more since i’ll be graduating soon) , another drop-waist dress in royal blue (if you follow my instagram you already know i have an abundance of drop-waist dresses) ,a pair of thick gray leggings with zip ankle detailing & a speckled slouchy cardigan !

lemon : this color is an esential for the summer ! the color of sunshine !
pistachio : remember my post about the midi skirt ? after i posted that, i started to see this color everywhere & i love it !
baby blue : i honestly think this became popular because essie’s ‘bikini so teeny’ became such an essential last summer !
electric blue : a twist on the classic royal blue but not that far off ! it’s edgy but not straying too far from those of you who love timeless pieces !
lilac : this is one of my favorite colors ! it is feminine & soft ! perfect for all skin tones !

april has just flown by ! & these are what i loved/used nonstop this month :
opi ‘you’re such a budapest’ : a beautiful lilac color that i just did not want to remove from my nails ! so pretty & it reminds me so much of spring !
soap & glory hand food : seriously the best hand lotion ever ! it absorbs into your hands in a second , it smells so good , & it leaves your hands feeling like a baby’s bottom ! lol ! i might do a giveaway on here soon & i will def be including this !
flowy white tank : i got mine from h&m for like 7 dollars & i have been wearing it so much with everything ! i love wearing this with a pair of jeans & a blazer !
silver knot ring : i got this dainty ring to replace the pandora one i lost & i love it !
rebecca minkoff teal m.a.c. : this has just been my go-to bag ! & rebecca minkoff signed the inside of it , so i love it more !
burt’s bees cuticle cream & hand salve : these just do wonders for your hands ! i’ve been putting both on before i sleep & the results are astonishing ! this alongside my hand food equals the hands of an angel ! lol

lake geneva
last weekend , i went to lake geneva to explore what my state has to offer & it was a treat ! we stayed at a mansion turned hotel for the couple nights we were there . it is called the maxwell mansion ! such a beautiful old home with the allure of the early 1900’s !
when you rent a room in this mansion , they give you keys to the whole house . there was no guest services other than the live-in maid but she was usually out of sight . there were no others sharing the house with us , so it was as if this was our house for the weekend !
what i wore for day one : marc jacobs for target scarf , f21 silk tee , else jeans , tory burch flats , & prada tote . (the leopard jacket is from h&m)
our private dinning room ! which we were too anxious to actually eat in ! lol ! day two was a historic discovery of lake geneva ! we went to the local museum & learned so much about this stunning city !

unfortunately , i did not have time to take photographs of our nighttime adventures/looks !
day three was short but memorable ! we went on a boat tour that showed us most of the estates that were on the lake front ! it was a royal sight !

my button broke on my jacket ! but i sewed it back on !

2. what is your must have lip color this spring ? i really enjoy the dior lip glow ! it adjusts to the color best suited for your lips ! (mine always tends to be a deep pink)
3. favorite spring dress ? it’s my go-to blue floral dress i purchased from f21 about two years ago ! & it’s still going strong !
4. what’s your favorite flower ? peonies & tulips !
5. favorite spring scarf or accessory ? my louis vuitton multicolor skinny scarf ! i don’t wear it around my neck though , i usually use it as a headband !
6. what spring trend(s) are you most excited about this year ? well, you know i am dying to try the midi skirt trend & i love the whole no platform heel thing that is going around ! as much as i like platform heels , i feel like they have become quite overrated !
7. Favorite spring candle ? b&bw honeysuckle ! a perfect combination of sweet & floral !
8. Favorite body spray or perfume for spring ? marc jacobs daisy !
9. What is spring like where you live ? as of late , it has been really dreary . mid 40’s with an abundance of rain . but you know , april showers bring may flowers !

these are my favorites for last month :
tulips : my boyfriend got me some tulips earlier in the month & i just loved them ! my mother planted me a few in a cute little pot so i can have some in my room always !
pandora cherry blossom ring : now i wore this beauty all month long , up until last weekend when it got stolen :( i am heartbroken but it’s just a ring . i hope whoever took it loves it as much as i did . do you guys think i should buy another one ?
lancaster satchel : i purchased this towards the end of the month but i already love love love this bag ! i think it’s the bright white that keeps me smiling whenever i see it ! it is a pretty big bag , which is perfect for school !
geocaching : this is like a world wide treasure hunt ! how do more people not know about this ?!
bracelets : the 2 beaded bracelets are from charming charlie , the bangle i talked about last post & my friendship bracelet ! i have been wearing this combo nonstop !
benefit sasha perfume : this scent is very floral , which i am loving for spring . anything with a flower on it , i must have ! lol
cubic zirconia studs : hannah gave these earrings to me & i have not stopped wearing them ever since ! i have been on a silver jewelry kick this month & what better to go with every look than these classic studs !
black studded heels : these should be my signature heels because of how often i wear them ! i don’t think i will ever fall out of love with these babies !

cherie silver-tone bracelet : i had to have this piece as soon as i saw it ! it reminded me of the classic cartier love bracelet - except this one is so much more affordable ! i am very pleased with the quality of this piece ! it has a no-show clasp & it is made for dainty wrists (finally) . love love love ! if only this existed in gold too , then this baby will never leave my wrist !
ariel flying bird pendant : i’ve been really into dainty necklaces lately & this is exactly what i was looking for ! this was part of the flash sale & it was a steal price considering it is gold plated ! the detail work on both the chain & the bird are exquisite ! very impressed !

how stunning is this midi skirt ?! it’s bold , bright , & modest ! it could be something about the neon color that makes me weak in the knees but i must have it ! i cannot get over how versatile this piece can be ! it is perfect to transition from winter to spring !
